The Cobra 135 was/is a solid performer, in fact, many regarded it's receiver as one of the best in the

industry. The shape/design chosen for this model was definitely different than any other, but I'll have to admit, it really

didn't catch on with me until much later in life. This model had a Toshiba-made PCB vs. later models like the 139XLR which were made by Uniden. Cobra hit paydirt later on when they modified the basic design (wider) and added a lighter face and dual purpose L.E.D clock and frequency display. it was named the Cobra 2000
