The shape/design chosen for this model was definitely different
than any other, but I'll have to admit, it really
catch on with me until much later in life. This model had a Toshiba-made PCB vs. later models like the 139XLR
which were made by Uniden. Cobra hit paydirt later on when they modified the basic design (wider)
and added a lighter face and dual purpose L.E.D clock and frequency display.
